To ensure that you will have the financial capability to finance your study during the Studienkolleg, Germany will require you to put off a certain amount of money (In 2019, it was 10.236 Euro) transferred into your blocked account in Germany at the very beginning. This amount of money would be transferred back to your Bank-account in Germany in monthly-basis (around 853EUR per month)

It is so important to make sure the documents are complete and correct, both for applying the student visa to Germany or applying to the Studienkolleg. Some schools required you to send the documents directly to the university’s address, some might ask you to apply through the Uni-Assist Portal, which is a German application website for Universities in Germany. Look thoroughly through each website of Studienkolleg or write an e-mail to their International office!
Legalization : The administration process in Germany can be very tricky. Make sure you were informed about the correct legalization of your documents, whether it is a High-school qualification or language-certificate.

In this part, you need to think thoroughly about your personal reason to go to Germany. Whether telling your dream of studying abroad to gain more experience and be more independent, or you can research and write down how studying in German can provide you with a better quality of education in compare to your home country.
